wins the Channel Network Awards for the second year running
Anglia
Business Solutions today announces that it has won an award at the UK
Channel Network Awards 2004. The company's entry won the Best SME Mobility
Solution 2004 category. This is the second successive year the company has
been recognised as a winner in these awards. Last year the company won Best
SME Internet Solution 2003.
The winning solution, deployed for Ace Fixings in Ireland, is an Anglia
developed B2B e-commerce and sales force mobility solution using a
combination of Microsoft Business Solutions-Navision, Microsoft .NET and
Anglia's own ‘Drizzle' Technology.
The system provides the sales force with immediate access to dynamic
customer and product information from any location twenty fours a day. This
enables sales executives to advise customers on stock availability, check on
previous order progress, resolve any commercial issues and electronically
enter orders while face to face with the client. The solution has helped Ace
Fixings to eliminate the double entering of up to 600 customer orders a day,
significantly reduced administration costs while providing the company with
a unique commercial advantage in the building supply sector. For full
